Here is a rare opportunity to acquire 160 acres on the western edge of the Great Salt Lake Desert that is easily accessible by road and adjacent to power. The property is located in Box Elder County in the valley between the Pilot Mountain Range to the west and the Little Pigeon Mountains to the east. Pilot Mountain Road runs nearby providing access to the property from the I-80 corridor to the south and from the UT-30 / NV-233 corridor to the north. Power poles run adjacent to the property and connect to a residence a few miles to the east.
Looking of extra room to roam? There are 640 acres of public land maintained by the Bureau of Land Management bordering the property on the east side. Look around for Elk, Mule Deer, Antelope, and Big Horn Sheep which all roam the area.
The property is zoned as mixed use, which includes agricultural, recreational, and residential uses. Possibilities include a small ranch for horses and cattle, hobby farm, RV or camping spot, ATV riding, stargazing, bugout spot, or to simply hold as an inflation hedge or long-term asset to pass down to future generations. Taxes are amazingly low at less than $150 per year!
