When the driveway starts to turn to the right, continue straight heading north, following the path along the edge of the treeline. In about ¼ mile, when you hit the neighbor’s driveway, turn right, then bear to the left to follow the path to the property. You’ll know you are there when you see the old truck on your right. Description
20 acres close to a main road overlooking the pristine eastern Washington countryside. Power lines serving the neighboring parcels are about 700 feet south of the property. Access is from the south via an easement from Carpenter Road. The terrain slopes from north to south, providing unimpeded views of Lilienthal Mountain and the enterprise valley.
This property has no restrictions, no covenants, and no HOA. It would make an amazing off-grid homestead, cabin, seasonal retreat, farming, hunting, camping, or long-term investment. There is a path up to the top that is drivable via 4×4 vehicle after some downed trees are cleared. The top of the hill has a relatively flat area that could make an amazing building location.
This area has habitat supporting deer, black bear, elk, cougar, turkey, and moose. Deer were seen along the back of the property while the photographer was there.
Supplies including hardware, groceries, and gasoline can be found in nearby Fruitland, 10 minutes to the north. Lake Roosevelt National Recreation Area is less than 15 minutes to the west. At less than 90 minutes from Spokane, this is an easy day trip from anywhere in the metropolitan area.
Most comparable properties are listed at $100,000 and above. At $54,997, this is a steal.
